Prominent Actor Taraji P. Henson breaks out crying mid interview when discussing her financial situation and pay she receives as an accomplished actor

Bruh, she crying over money she says she ain't getting. It kinda behooves you to look that shit up.

She's crying broke tears, but made nearly $18M from Empire alone. Sorry, but that right there pretty much excludes anyone from me giving a fuck about how much you didn't get from a movie role.

I don't give a fuck about no millionaire crying the blues about money.
So if I hear you.....$999,999.99 is where ya fucks stop

Ok cool

let's make the distinction clear here. She aint crying broke. She saying she's being underpaid.. the same as other established and respected black actresses are.

but if you dont give a fuck you dont give a fuck either way
She should quit!

Exactly. And that's something that's been proven to be done across basically every job/career known. But as long as people's jealousy and lack of empathy keeps them divided the shit ain't changing for nobody

You literally said 'I don't give a fuck about no millionaire crying the blues about money'. I can only infer that $999,999.99 is you limit.

So if it's not...what is it?

Don't infer anything, you just look stupid 'cause you're always wrong.

The totality of the situation determines whether I give a fuck or not.

So another millionaire crying about being underpaid could make you gaf but not this millionaire.

Not Taraji tho, gotcha

Not my fault she hasn't done anything that I'm checking for, you don't see my baby Sanaa out here crying

shes for sure spoke on this kinda topic in the past tho

"I think Hollywood has a ways to go. Certainly in the last couple of years with 'Think Like A Man' and even recently with 'Straight Outta Compton' doing well," she said. “But I think the language needs to change, the language about ‘Oh, this is an Urban film or this is a niche film.' No, these are Hollywood films. And it's to marginalize us because it's like some kind of a freak thing that we’ve made all this money off this movie. That’s a problem for me.”

Much of Hollywood’s failure to fully address its diversity problem has been attributed to white male executives who are in charge of the industry’s talent agencies and movie studios.

According to a study released earlier this year by UCLA’s Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies, 94 percent of film studio heads -- who are in charge of green lighting decisions -- were white in 2013, while 92 percent of those in other senior level film studio management roles were white.

Lathan underscored the glaring disparity and said Hollywood should have an accurate representation of all cultures.

"I think we need to come into the 21st century. And films should represent the world that we live in," she said. "And right now when you look at Hollywood it’s not an accurate representation of the diversity of the world that we live in.”

Bruh, I'm sorely underpaid for what I do especially considering I have nearly 25 years in this field. And while, yeah, the shit is annoying as fuck, I got a family to care for so I take what I have, recognize it as the blessing that it is considering I could be making NOTHING like so many other people out here, and use it to handle biz for my family.

I ain't finna be outchea crying over the shit.

She's underpaid... I hear you and all, but her "underpaid" still means multiple multi million dollar homes, designer fits, luxury whips, flights to remote spots for vacation, and trips to the plastic surgeon.

My underpaid means juggling bills to provide a Christmas for my kids and get a new alternator for my ride before the current one stops working completely and sliding a bit off to the side so I can get Direct TV cut back on. The shit ain't the same and y'all know it.

We all know the white fragility affects everything we do. But we have to take accountability for things we can control. Maybe she needs to look at maybe how you were handling your money? Your Agent - are they good? Did you have good lawyers to read your contract? Let me tell you what it really is!

She is single. KeKe Palmer agreed with her by saying she has to work multiple jobs. She is single as well...the black woman independent thing affects all @ every level...Angella Basset - OK. Viola Davis - OK. Married women...

oh ya...how insensitive to black women who have 2. 5 kids who are single that work hard ...naw....no tears over here.

Well I was wrong, I put her in the same boat as Taraji,

Ok so Taraji, Sanaa, Viola so far are all in the same boat to you as far and you not giving a fuck about them all seeing the same behavior/treatment of being underpaid regardless of their resume and credentials
