Like that lady wasn't asking for us to do anything on her behalf. She had a venerable moment about something a lot people can relate to, and yet she's not allow to get some empathy because of what she makes...

And the same way that'd be stupid to tell them that too because everyone in some way is dependent on others for their income. it's not always easy to just quit one job and get another. That's bad advice regardless.

This is a broad getting more money on a flick than the average Black family makes in 5-10 years depending on the movie and she's been spending some of that money on plastic surgery and other dumb shit and we're supposed to have "empathy and compassion"??? It's Black folks out here living from check to check or less by drowning in fuckin payday loans to make it to the next check and we're supposed to have empathy and compassion for someone like her???

I looked her up: She made $175k PER FUCKING EPISODE of Empire. That shit ran for 6 seasons so do the math there. She has a $1.5M condo in Chicago along with a $6M crib in Hollywood along with other properties while folk out here with NO home to live in and we 'posta care about her whining about money??? Folks out here strugglin to make a Christmas for their kids with utility bills, rent and shit piling up on 'em but she outchea crying 'cause her biggest payday was "only" $500K???

Nah B. No compassion for nobody like that.

This thread also reads like people have no idea about taxes, costs of living, upkeep etc and think a person making for example 500k just gets a check for 500k. Niggas just making up shit to add on instead of saying "everybody is getting a raw deal"

Because it's not about having better negotiation tactics. You know your value and you know that companies know what you bring to the table and yet when it's time to sign a new contact they don't want to pay your worth. At some point it becomes insulting that you even have to go through the back and forth. That's where the frustration comes in.
