Prepare for all the black women to complain about black men not supporting them if this movie doesn't break records like Black Panther. That said, I'll be seeing it cause I like stories like this and I like that particular story.

Our women know why Black Panther was such a monumental success and our women aren't a bunch of bitter angry people waiting for the next chance to fight men i.e. white women.

When you're a ruler that makes a huge difference and is why even with T'Challa presumed dead you could see the trepidation when following the orders Killmonger gave out. They wasn't all gung ho behind his plan. You heard Okoye say it...she was loyal to the throne so she was going to follow regardless but as soon as she saw an out to go against Killmonger she took it even if it meant going against the love of her life and threatening to kill him.

Look at the bold. You had an issue with Killmonger killing his girlfriend over what he believed in but Okoye can potentially kill the love of her life and that’s understandable? What’s the difference?
 
I had to fall back for a second cause I wasn't about to keep repeating myself.

Bottom line, you can't conflate the issues of planning and methods. If you don't like the idea of white people dying, fine. But just because you don't like it doesn't mean there's no plan outside of that.

Killmonger killed his girl for no reason other than to kill a cracker. It was stupid and pointless.

Ok, it's an exaggeration to say all, but let's not act like some of our women weren't ready to boycott BP because a couple stars aren't dating black women. These chickchick's priorities don't always line up the way you think they will.

That was a made up story. I saw many posts, more than I would have liked to have seen, and every black woman who commented on it said they didn't give a damn who he was dating.

Bill Maher just had a mini monolog on non-news stories. Very relevant to your post.

We can argue that his girlfriend was of great value to him in a lot of ways.
 
listen, I think black women and white sympathizers of black struggle are seen as convenient and disposable allies in the black movement right now and Killmonger's character is the epitome of black male #woke society. They identify with this character in a way that is very scary to me.
