I think because conservatives are seen as just that, enigmatic on the part If them doing things people feel are too rigid. Too stiff and old school. While liberalism leans on the people’s desire to be so called ever changing, so that’s seen as more respectful and better.

Plus people don’t really like to respect the intellect of black men. That’s why I said, I hated how our perception was altered. There’s no secret that there is a correlation between our image of leadership, our communities, and the fact that there are so many black head coaches in these major sports leagues that can’t get a gig. It’s because they don’t respect our intellect. BM are seen as emotional, nonsensical, ill-equipped leaders in the black community. So the other men in the world say if they’re not even good enough to keep their communities in shape, why should we trust them with $1 billion franchise?

You also look at what’s going on with the Khalid Muhammad‘s, Martin Luther King‘s, Malcolm X’s of the world and how the media knew that a lot of those brothers was making sense? So it made more sense to bring out guys like preacher from Dont be a menace From South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood or Oswald Bates from in living color. To make black men look and sound like rambling idiots. Not to say that we all are perfect, but the attempt was there and it pretty much worked.
This needs to be its own thread.

This is a great post.
Shit, we look at each other as all the things you listed.
Example:
Wack 100 always on YouTube bashing, exposing, hampering ir trash talking and threatening black men but will defend Adam22 and 69 and say it’s bidness. Or how Adam helped black dudes.
hiw often do we hate on a successful black man by finding what makes him weak vs a successful black Roman is just celebrated.
How skeptical are we of a black man when dealing with each other?

We have to go beyond proving we are qualified only to be under a microscope after doing just that.
By each, our women, our kids and then the world.
I said many times too many on this site hate black men and I’m not talking about the women.
I can go in forever with this.

But yea. Rhi is that chick.
Why can’t rocky be seen as loving his child as a black man. Something that’s not shown much?

Anyway this does give me an idea for a thread. Like how do fathers with daughters view this? Like do you think a woman should always be submissive? @TheNightKing @AP2.5 @Big Lurko @CAP 3.0 i know it’s like 5 others in here
Yes. And dude also needs to be a leader thats capable of submitting at the right times.
A man being a leader doesn’t negate a woman’s greatness.
submissive doesn’t mean getting slapped around, cheated on or have no say.
The definition of submissive needs to be changed in people mind

Why doesn't the bold hold true when the genders are reversed?

Thats why I say, sometimes it’s just a song. Sometimes it’s just a picture, sometimes it’s just a television segment. Sometimes people do things and it’s for no real bad intention it’s just something to happen. Just like we can say sometimes it’s left or sometimes it’s down? Sometimes it’s right, sometimes it’s up. That’s why I think people get upset simply because it’s not right to be labeled certain titles that people wanna throw your direction because they don’t agree with you.

So as a black man, I got to be conspiracy theorist? I got to be a Hotep? I got to be losing my mind? You can’t point out that they are forces at work, acknowledge that they’ve gone through so many different machinations to hold black men back, list all of the things that you would never wanna have done to your people that fucked us over and see that those folks that can do certain things that are so heinous that it makes you believe that they can never be completely forgiven because it’s a part of their nature…..yet think that we shouldn’t be quizzical?

When women believe there are sexist men who are not men, but unfair pieces of shit that bring them down? They don’t let us just silence them or shame them into backing down. Their thing is who are we to question that

Same with the Jews, look at how you can’t even say they run Hollywood.

Same with LGBT. You can’t say ANYTHING about them

Black men start talking about this subject and people start acting like there’s nothing there, and the respect they get???? Oh no negro the math ain’t adding up for them.

1+1=2 all the time for them

For BM it’s more like 5+5=55

Women truly don’t want to be in a leadership position in their relationship.

I think a man should be the leader of the house but shouldn’t make any moves without his wife’s council. She’s basically his consigliere. He’s submissive to the Don, but commands the respect of the Don and everyone else.

I’d just hope she marries a man that earns that leadership position. I’ve set the example hopefully. I have final say but I am always considerate of my wife’s wishes and feelings.

So in short, yes, but only to a thorough dude who earns it and puts her and his family on a pedestal.

I kinda see what you’re saying they don’t always want to make all the decisions but she would be foolish to put her fate in somebody else hands. But in a relationship does their need to be a defined leadership role?

The man is the leader. If she has to lead she’ll treat the man like a little ass boy, and he’ll act passive aggressive in return.

I believe there does need to be a defined leadership role. I’m overall leader, but the situation could dictate the leader too.

For instance, I trust my wife to make decisions about our kids’ activities (soccer, dance, ballet, etc.). Whatever she wants to sign them up for I’m all good with. And when it comes to our diet as a family, she got that too. The entire house is hers and she has free reign to make it whatever she wants. There’s other things too, this is just what comes to mind now. Finances though, all me, amongst other things.

But history has taught us that things run more successfully when there is a leader. That’s why governments, military, religious institutions, etc. are setup this way.

Key word in this whole post….earns

If I can be real….and of course I’ll catch heat for this.
But
Every woman that I knew that ran the household/leader position began to disrespect the man in the house.

This is just in my travels and from only what I seen.

She didn’t seek his opinion, his guidance and most decisions were made based on her and the kids and he happened to be there.

It’s happening mire now with high earning women who out earn the man.
But let’s take away finances…..and stay on leadership and the support of each other in a household.

Said it before an I’ll say it again.

I don’t think ladies should slept with dudes who hasn’t show the ability to be a leader or a guiding force that will push her and the family or potential family forward.

Taking off panties and opening legs or allowing doggie style sex is the epitome of submission. Can’t call him a fuck nigga if he seen ya butthole.
Men and women both need to do better.
