The black american in the movie is the villain. He is obsessed with connecting with his people back in Africa. And he is the villain.

The hero is the African King who is like, fuck you fake ass american, you will never be accepted by our people.

The actor playing the the African King says he relates more personally with the villain in the movie.

Like you only see the negative.

I see our people as beautiful, bright, and making great strides and efforts in establishing ourselves as a whole every day.

Sucks that you don't see that.... But maybe a movie about some comic book Africans will change your perception

Amd even with black actors in non black-centric films....how many awards has a black actor/actress won or got high esteem for a role they played that WASNT a negative/stereotypical role...not including biopics

I just cant get with you calling a Black person desperate or corny or ashamed for wanting to learn more and attempt to connect to a heritage that wasnt lost...but stolen...taken away by force.

Bruh... You really oversimplify shit. No one is obsessing over the negative aspects. Niggas is TIRED of the negative aspects.

So what if niggas wanna romanticize their ancestral home? You don't think niggas in Africa romanticize America? If that was the case, then we wouldn't have so many immigrants from Africa.

If we wanna have a 2 hour reprieve from the fuckery that our country dumps on us daily, a reprieve that's damn near for us, by us, why is that a bad thing?
