That will be the only good that can come from the Trump presidency. Now we know just how little power there is to hold a President accountable. Maybe laws will be passed to prevent such a thing from happening again.

My only concern though is that once the Democrats get in power, they’ll take the same liberties as Trump, just like Obama did with Bush’s expansion of political power. The right will bitch and moan like Trump never happened, and the cycle continues.

Only way anything gets done to limit Presidential abuse of power is one party as president, and the other party controls both chambers of Congress.
