It was a battle to see who had the better flow...as that is a very important aspect of RAPPING. Of which myself and @Los216 was having a debate about who had the better flow and who was the better rapper out of Drake and Kendrick.
when I asked for the battle it was strictly to display who had the better flow. I specifically asked for 11 tracks because first and foremost I didnt feel like taking out the time to craft a 21 track set and then block out at least an hr of my time for the battle. In addition to that I also feel that it was not necessary to do a 21 track battle JUST to display who had the better flow. 11 track is plenty...and as I said before...if you cant put a flow on display in 11 tracks then...yeah..
now had it been to see who is the better rapper PERIOD....by putting on dispaly more than just flow (Vocab, wordplay, storytelling, charisma, etc) then yeah

Storytelling is an overrated qualifier with rappers. First of all everybody doesn't have the same appreciation on subject matter. Nobody tells stories about being petty with bitches than Future but does that make him one of the best storytellers in rap? Is Eminem the best storyteller because nobody tells stories about addiction and bad parenting then Em?
To me, storytelling gets brought up when people know the rapper they are pulling for isn't better than their counterpart. It's used as a cry for help in competition. I value it and think it's important but it gets hella overrated.

a great stroyteller is someone who makes movies with thier words. One that can craft a narrative over a track or a whole album. When you listen to the song you can imagine every word in vivid detail it feels like you are there.
Future making songs about being a fuck nigga towards women does not qualify as storytelling b...try again.
