Last post I will ever do on this

I wanted a first-class striker. I don't want to go through all the names but when you can't have the first or second choice, you have to be happy with the fourth or fifth, so Falcao came into the picture but we knew in advance he was injured. That is why I said we should take him on loan

Jose all said exactly the same things

The same thing happened to Conte he didn't want zapacosta or Emerson hence why they never started it's not just a united problem

I always say Brendan Rodgers was treated unfairly by Liverpool when they sold saurez he thought they was getting Sanchez instead came balo and Lambeth these guys don't suit Rodgers style and he was sacked after finishing second and should of won the league

In comes klop and out goes every technical director klopp has the power to sign and sell who he wants and look at Liverpool now

I agree with all of this.

Dosent change the fact the story says he took him cause he didn’t think he would get another midfielder.

That suggests he didn’t have to take him. He did and now saying he didn’t want him.

It don’t reflect great saying that shit now when he’s not saying Fred was forced on him rather than buying cause he don’t wanna be short in midfield.

Ole has left us short cause he wasn’t buying players he doesn't like. At the moment dosent look very clever due to injuries. But if Ole is perceived as a Ed “yes man” and is not having players forced on him I find it questionable that Jose was.

Did u not just answer your question of why Jose begrudgingly took Fred when u pointed out why it was not clever for Ole to do the opposite????

Yes I did. Jose wanted Fred so he wasn’t short in midfield.

Coming out saying he didn’t want him is a lie.

He should have said he couldn’t get his first choices so he got Fred in. The story was presented in a way that he had no choice. He had a choice.

Fred was scouted by Utd for over a year before we bought him. He wasn’t forced on Jose.

@figo Just found out your boy Gabigol (remember him, lol) is killing it in the Brazilian league. Top goal scorer with 18 goals, the guy in 2nd place has 11.

Still on Inter’s books, right?

He’s doing tremendous but he’s not a conte type of player. They should offload him to La Liga to a top 4 side. I can see him doing great at Sevilla, or Valencia.
