Think its good for keeping pests like ants away, so Im gonna either lay some leaves around the greenhouse or really get scientific and try make a spray with them and spray it around the greenhouse and polytunnel floor lol

Yea I saw a chart that listed all these plants together that keeps pest away and mint was on there for a good bit of things but didn't do well with tomatoes and some other stuff
Yeah its just something to stick by the door...
I think planting basil underneath tomatoes is a good combo as they are short and help keep pests away...

Lil dwarf jalepeno plant I transplanted from the aerogarden to a pot. Just happened that some basil from before is growing next to it. I think it might be helping it produce more.
This was AFTER I clipped the ones from the pic above off
Couple different kinds of tomatoes coming up but no actual tomatoes yet. Ima have to start patrolling with salt at night soon
Got a couple types of beets coming up and carrots but nothing to show just yet. Alot of my peppers I started indoors didnt make it once I put them in the ground. Ima let them get bigger indoors before I put them outside.
thinking about dehydrating the jalepenos and grinding them up to make some jalepeno powder

Bro I done tried salt, eggshells, hot pepper flakes, beer traps.. if it aint the slugs its the hornworms. Bastards. They aint gon get me this year tho lol

Ive never seen picked jalepenos must be an North American thing!!! lol
Not sure if this would work for worms but it done the trick when I had ants... I stuck each leg of the tables that were holding my plant pots, in little pots/cups (like the pots you put dipping sauce in) that were full of soapy water from washing up liquid...

I never tried it before but figured if you can do it with banana peppers why not jalapenos

Got some in the freezer that I froze cuz I wanted to dehydrate them all at the same time. Plant still has at least 10 smaller ones and counting on it that im waiting for them to get bigger before harvesting.
Making a powder out of these.. Or I might just end up making some Jalepeno/Basil Salt. Havent decided yet.

Ive just planted 4 tomato plants, one sweet bell pepper and some pepper plant my dukes gave me so I'll see how they turn out... And some herbs in the Trug too...
Annoying two of the sweet honey cherry tomatoes arrived damaged couple days ago, I got refunded for them and planted them anyways so hope they still take...
My cucumber should arrive in a couple days too, hope that arrives in good order... So annoying the local garden centres didnt have any grafted F1 honey tomatoes or cucumbers this year, hate getting plants in the post... I was too slow to get my sh!t in order...
Also has anyone grown Brussel sprouts before??? I planted two of them but they dont look too good...
