Is this bad parenting or ultimate parent move?

i see why God keep tryna drown yall....... smh

I hear you big breh.

You can't judge the next man's thoughts if you haven't lived like the next man.

I'll give you an example and this is from a rapping stance, that you may can understand see where Boosie is coming from

BG/Wayne (BG at 14) (Wayne at 9) was rapping about Choppers and gun-play better than the niggas that were 21 and over in the game.

So you think that they wasn't fucking or being introduce to fast girls at that young age?

oh naw, i get it bruh, i done seen a lotta harsh shit too....

but at some point we gotta realize what's necessary struggle for growth, and what's detrimental to our development of people

once you know better... you gotta do better....

the only thing that needs to be extinct is this bottom behavior..stuff that just ain't wassup.....

we ain't in no 3rd world country...and enough niggaz getting money these days where we ain't gotta be limiting resources like we used to

of course i use humor a lot.....

but shit man... stuff like that can't go forward....

they just tried to do a cease fire in bmore over the weekend... shit ain't go off perfect.. but we owe it to ourselves to try to discourage this kinda ratchet behavior..

niggaz in baltimore tired of only being seen as a violent war-zone...

everybody tryna do better....we routinely shit on niggaz who still adapt to backwards ass mentality.....

that shit ain't cool no more

something happening =/= it being remotely alright for an adult to encourage it.

Adults I don't think encourage it, I think they just expose you to it when they may have been exposed to it.

Like I said, I guarantee that Boosie at 11 or 12, his dad, if not, his uncle/homeboys/cuzins stated something along the lines. He just didn't pull that shit outta the sky. He heard it somewhere and I'm sure again it was told to him

Wit the rapping, BG and Wayne were rappers, they were exposed to what they were rapping about, fast girls, guns, money, drugs. You can't articulate something well if you are being encouraged by someone, you have to already been exposed to it and use to it/familiar with it to be good at it/know it.

I can encourage a kid to go swimming but it doesn't makes since if they can't swim/know how to. (if I'm making any sense here, maybe not) but meh

I respect that.

Some things need to be cut off and stopped, but as @Cain and others state on here, niggas go continue to nig.

And I'm sure Boosie knows better, I see he posted saying he was playing, so he know.

that's what i'm saying...

boosie a millionaire right now....or he damn sure should be one....

she shouldn't be exposing his kids...OR THE KIDS IN HIS FAMILY to the same broke ass shit they grew up seeing....

you don't wanna spoil them, so u find a balance.....but u ain't gonna be cutting birthday cakes with the same knife you cut coke and dope with when you worth a million dollars....u feel me?

no. it would be in bad taste, but not wildly inappropriate like it is now. age of consent is 17 in some places.

12 is a child by every stretch.

A 12 year old (today) isn't the same 12 year old you old when I was coming up or others on this board. (IMO)

There were teen clubs for 12 and 13 years old here.

12 year olds were at the skating ring or bowling alleys partying.

12 year olds were watching porn (on tape)

12 year olds were doing way more stuff than what 12 years old are doing today (IMO)

you don't play saying "remember to pull outta that girl in class, have fun on your bday my boy". when that girl's dad could be reading and call you out on sexualizing a 12 year old.

joking about a sex act involving your extremely underage kid is still inappropriate af. the kid being yours doesn't make it okay

he doesn't know better, or he would've seen what's wrong with that statement. you say you were exposed to that environment of ur peers fucking at age 12, do you make jokes about little kids getting topped off?

that IG post was encouragement.

Like I stated

When Boosie was 12 was a lot different than his son being 12.

Boosie 12, with his world and how the world was shaped, his 12 would equal 14-16,

His son being at 12 is actually 12 or may be 10. Dude is green.

At 12, when Boosie was 12, you were put on game quickly.

Smh.

I don't know how old lil bud buds is turning, but I do know when I was coming up there were kids at the age of 12-14 fucking already, some were even pregnant.

And being where Boosie is from (BR), he saw the same things that I and most that are living in Louisiana saw, so it's not far-fetched to hear dude say this. I'm sure one of his uncles stated it to him when he was at that age. Maybe even his daddy may have.

When I was 12, I can remember my dad and uncles/cousins/friends asking me if I was fucking and saying I should be, so that I could clear up the pimples I was getting in my face ((I've told that story on the IC how my dad and uncle said it to me.

I remember being caught with having condoms in my pocket by my mama when I was in the 5th grade.

Am I co-signing it nah, but I know where the thought is coming from.

You get introduce to a lot a things at an early age where I from.

I knew how to count the money before I could read.

I knew how to shoot dice and I'm sure he did and others before I was in 2nd grade, so the shit aint all bad to what he's stated, I've heard it plenty of times said to my peers and ppl I know and come up with.
I agree that it happens and anyone raised a certain way understands but the new broadcasting of things only make them worse. I learned how to count using domino's and I was cutting cane with a machete from young. We all have our ways but that doesn't make them right. I was doing all types of things early that I hope my son never does in his lifetime. We know certain things aren't right and we shouldn't pass those things on to the next generation.

I'm with you big breh. I don't think he should, but I think ppl when they remember back on when they were young or at the age, they tend to bring up their thoughts and forget that today's youth isn't the same as yesterday's youth, just like today's world

I think if Boosie dad would have made that comment back when he was 12-14 years old in Boosie's adolescent days the out-cry would have been different. IMO

I disagree with the last statement. 12 year olds today know more about and doing stuff that I couldn't imagine doing and still don't and I was a very fast 12 year old.

I bring up the fact Wayne and BG were rapping about choppers/223s, 9's and fucking girls/playing hoes left and right at the age of 11 and 9 and BG and Wayne They had one of the top selling underground albums in the south, (True Stories) Wayne at 14 talking about this and that like he's 25 year old cat in the game.

Shit Wayne had a song called "Block Burner" at the age of 13, solo, talking about riding on niggas and doing whatever.

In today's time, the shit would be frown upon and ppl would crucify Wayne's and BG content.

Like I stated, it's a different 12 year old mind-set 20 years ago, than what it is today

I disagree, a 12 year today may have more access to stuff, I'll agree on that, but to understand life, the depths of it, nah. I disagree.

but Boosie is now an adult. this would all make sense if he was 12 year old Boosie but he is grown enough to have a kid.

you're making excuses.

I'm not making excuses, you are boxing him in to be on some "everybody should walk this way" cuz you're an adult.

Every adult aint cut the same is what folks don't understand.

Shouldn't he not said it and put it out there (hell no) but me if I was around dude or someone like him, say it to their son, I wouldn't bat an eye about it. It's what's been stated plenty of times by dudes like him and ppl from where he's come from.
