Dark Side of the Ring


As noted last week, the seventh season of Dark Side of the Ring will feature a trilogy of episodes devoted to Jeff Jarrett and the trials and tribulations of TNA.

While Jarrett sat down for extensive interviews and others will be appearing, including Jim Cornette, Vince Russo and The Hardys, one major name turned down multiple overtures to appear and be interviewed, PWInsiderElite.com can confirm - Dixie Carter.

Carter, who helped save TNA from near-immediate doom when their initial investor, HealthSouth pulled out before her family business, Panda Energy purchased the company, putting Carter in power as President of the company, turned down several invitations to sit down and discuss her memories and perspective.

Panda later divested themselves of ownership, leaving a company owned by Dixie, Impact Ventures. TNA is now owned by Anthem Sports after the company called in its marker on numerous loans it had given to the Impact Ventures, reversing ownership positions with Carter's company.

The Dark Side of the Ring episodes will premiere this July.
 
Dixie still reportedly has a minority stake in TNA.

There were rumors that she had an affair or two with some wrestlers. I wonder if that played a part in her not participating.

I wasn’t watching any kinda wrestling In the mid 2000s so this TNA story is cartoonish as fuck. From Jeff to Dixie to Russo lmaooo

Only thing good about TNA back then was the feud between AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels for the X Division title.
