Pretty much everything he said was stupid. I don't know if he believes any of it, but I'm sure, without reading any of the comments, that some people do.
The Civil Rights movement had some failures for sure, and the Black community dropped the ball after desegregation. But if you believe the things he was saying in that clip, you actually probably don't know anything about life for black people before the Civil Rights era and you don't actually understand what the Civil Rights movement was about.
