One person isn't getting the rest of them off the hook but if we want to go back to the original point that one person would be worthy of people's idolatry after curing cancer. Not because they're a billionaire but because they're saving billions of lives.

I have a more pessimistic outlook of the world. The people at the top are always going to be corrupt. It's just a constant... And I've accepted that as the norm.

In my day to day, I do not interact with those people and can care less either way. It just is what it is. So there's no extreme feelings towards them either way.

Like when that CEO got shot, I did not care. I wasn't happy, sad, shocked, it just something that happened. A lotta people have extreme feelings towards corrupt industries, and dude got popped because of it. Oh well.

But to those who treated it like a tragedy...I looked at them side eyed.

Like if Trump got assassinated.... The problems we will run into are his followers... Those who loved and idolized him. That's the biggest threat... The masses that follow these people.

So I don't have anything inherently against people who are insanely rich... The system that man created will always produce and protect those people... You just have to learn to navigate it and pass those skills along to your children.

However it's the common folks you interact with daily who idolize those people you really have to worry about. The people who think they can be just like them. The people that will sit there a fuck your life up personally, because they think that's the key to be like the elite... Or to be seen and accepted by the elite.

The ice agents who will do horrible things because they think it will gain them favor amongst the elites.... They are the danger imo.
 
is there a more culture appropriated food in american than mexican..whites will open up a mexican themed restaurant with stereotypical names with no shame..

That's the kinda scenario that people envision, but that's not really how it works. People make millions that way, but they get to hundreds of millions and billions by taking their millions and influencing politics to give themselves unfair edges.

To paraphrase myself from another thread: That's what society believes a person with a high IQ would do... because you simply don't understand what living with a high IQ means. They get this idea from the media, who also has no clue what it means to be of high intelligence. They can only speculate and because of their very limited understanding of it, they guess that people of high intelligence would crave riches and wealth, when in reality we only crave happiness and a decent life.

If someone figured it out and was the sole owner of it then they'd easily make billions. Trillions is possible but more likely the government seizes it or gives them a payout

Remember that cancer drug market is hundreds of billions. Owning the cure would be one of the most valuable assets in human history

My scenario was just to see how far the "fuck the rich/wealthy" went in regards to someone who created their own wealth

That's your opinion, but every social structure since the beginning of man always favored the ruling class. That's just the way society works. We see it played out today in corporations and greed.... But that's the way it's always been...

The apathetic are not the problem. They just focus their energy on other things that are more in their power to control.

I can't worry about everyone, my responsibility is my immediate environment. If you wanna go on a crusade for the greater good of man, by all means go for it. But to tell me to go to hell for not having martyr complex when all you do is complain online is crazy work.

My contribution to a better world is to do my best to raise considerate and progressive children. Make good people. I ain't taking down corporations, and toppling regimes.... And unless you're out there doing that.... I don't see how you can take your stance.

If you're gaining money by genuinely helping people why would I be mad at you. Thats how you're supposed to get there. That said if you genuinely want to help the people it shouldn't stop there.
