Influencer Allegedly Killed By Her BF, But Called Suicide by Police

It doesn't

If you want I can find more sources
From one of the articles that YOU posted:

Signs_Symptoms_of_Smiling_Depression.jpg.webp

Each of the other 2 articles that you posted also have some pretty clear descriptions of how depression shows up on people who are good as masking the traditional symptoms, also. They just don't have an easy to copy graphic. In your attempt to disprove my point, you did a great job of reinforcing it.

Again, depression ALWAYS shows up. Even if the person tries to hide it. That's pretty clear from the information that YOU provided.

Salute, though.

Depression always shows. And that girl didn't kill herself.
Completely false. I personally know a few personal cases where there were zero signs. Some folks just good at keeping their personal battles to themselves and play happy in public because they fear being looked at as weak or an issue.

tho I do think there was foul play possibly here that still doesn't change the fact that depression doesn't always show.

Ok.

Even if signs "show" people might not be around people afflicted 24/7 to identify there is an issue.

Thats unreasonable to expect. Especially for an adult. Kind of a ridiculous stance to take. Respectfully @mryounggun

You’re misunderstanding. My position isn’t that anyone should have seen the sign or even could have seen the signd. My stance is that there are always signs. That can’t really be disputed. Even if the signs manifest only behind closed doors and the person never lets anyone see them behind closed doors…there are signs.

Oh... well duh nigga.

I assume what @RandomOne and @OGDirtyD are opposing is that the signs don't exist to people in ones orbit if they aren't seen/heard. And that someone dealing with depression can be seen as perfectly fine because they aren't exhibiting those signs.

If not im not sure what we're doing.

No disrespect.

Mental health gets ignored too easily or made fun of. Especially with men

My stance is that it does not always show and there are doctors and studies that agree with that. You can see someone visibly normal and happy but on the inside they are depressed

“Depression isn’t always something you can see in others or pinpoint easily in yourself,” says psychologist Dawn Potter, PsyD. “For some people, depression lives under the surface. It can be extremely challenging to go about your day-to-day, but to the rest of the world, you seem to be doing reasonably well.”

“The difference lies in the ‘functioning,’” Dr. Potter clarifies. “A person living with high-functioning depression may appear as if nothing is amiss, but in reality, they may feel as if they’re hanging on by a thread.”

So you agree with me or...

I fully understand your point. Its a hang up of a technicality. If the symptoms only show up behind "closed doors" then know they dont always. Of course there are symptoms but they dont always show up in public settings.
