Like if I text someone and they take an hour to respond, then i text them immediately back and they take an hour to respond and I text them immediate back and they take 4 hours to respond.

You can take that internet social maneuvers shit and play with some kids. We legit can die tomorrow and you play games with me.

Bruh, you can't expect people to text you back immediately; their lives do not revolve around your words on a screen. If you want an immediate response, call them. Expecting immediate responses from a text message is self-centered as shit, and then to break communication because someone doesn't meet your selfish expectations is nothing short of childish.

I can see how you would view it like that, but I disagree. If you contact me to communicate with me, and I communicate with you. And you take the opportunity to play games with me. We are not doing that.

As an adult, if I contact you, and you communicate with me. And something comes up to where i can’t communicate with you. I respect your time and say I just got into something I’m sorry, I’ll hit you back when I’m free. That’s consideration and something only adults do.

I kind of agree with koncept. If someone texts me, it is a non-urgent matter. If it is urgent, they will either call or text me to call them as soon as I can.

My girl works in the ER. I would never expect her to respond quickly. She responds when she has a break.

Hell, I got a friend who takes mad long to text but I dont get offended because my message is not urgent. Plus, I know how busy she is. Kids, work, her interest outside of work. Sometimes she may forget to reply. I do the same sometimes. Sometimes, I will see a message but can't reply right away or I dont want to start up a convo at that time, so I tell myself I will reply when im free. Most times I remember but there are times I forgot.

And I’m from the mind frame where I’m considerate of a lot of shit that bothers other people that don’t bother me. That I make time for to be mindful in the way I deal with them. Like, I once dealt with someone that would call me and not say nothing. Just wanted me on the phone. Which is cool if that’s how you get down.

The same thing could be bad when someone does that and expects you to entertain them. It goes from a quirky niche of who they are, to a disrespect of your time.
