We got whole hoods full of people who were allowed into the US specifically because they sided with US/western force against their own people.

Look up the Hmong role in the Vietnam war. This is not the only example . Iraq war, Afghan war, Korean War, Chinese revolution etc etc . Pick one. This is a historic immigration trend.

By time the story gets to us we need to be like them because they "stick together ".

Word. That's why i need to know if they are talking bout in the world or America. If America, then that is really most immigrants and expats. Legal and illegal. They have to work together because they may not know the language, how things work, etc.

If we are talking bout the world, each group has their problems.

Also, many people that say this dont even know what is going on in other communities besides their own.

The bold is true because 99% of the time I see someone say "Only Black people do *insert thing here*" they're talking about a pretty common behavior and it shows they either are a victim of the bold and/or put other races on a pedestal

I'd say yes politically. Not relationshipwise though. For a long time, they might have seemed to be the most loyal from a dating standpoint, but I think that was because for a long time other races weren't checking for them. Now that other races are, you're seeing a lot more black women date outside of their race.
