This game looks fun but I don't understand how there is no single player offline play at launch. It seems like having offline play on release date should be common sense. If the servers are trash like 2K this game might not last long.

For $30 and no single player mode is a wait for me or pass if this joint is bad.
 
the game got an uphill battle against longevity

you could probably play that tournament mode 50x in the span of 3 days
