AMC - Anne Rice's Talamasca: The Secret Order (CANCELED After 1 Season)

Added to Calendar: 10-26-25

Batter than witches, but I don't think enough can happen in 1 episode to make this great.
It feels like a filler series.
I think I was too busy trying to figure out wtf was happening in witches

This one I sometimes don't care what's happening lol

I still maintain the reaction videos helped me get thru witches.

The two chicks I watch the most had some pretty decent recaps and their attempts to put the story together really made me lock in more on a second watch.

But with this show, they are not doing a well enough job to make me think the 752 is more important that what Lestat or Rowan is doing.

Or at least the show could illustrate how everything going on with Lestat and Rowan on their respective shows is enough of a distraction for this 752 thing to happen.

But as it stands, I feel like the Talamasca should definitely be more worried about them than this beef with Helen and Jasper.

I gotta wait and see going forward with Interview cause Claudia was a big part why I like this show and she's not there anymore.

I've said a million times, the book series didn't start getting really good until the book they're about to cover.

Most time when people ask about the books, I say skip the first book and just watch the movie.. Cuz the movie covered the important parts, and the rest was good writing, but kinda boring.

But that boring first book were two amazing seasons of the AMC show. And season 3 is starting arguably the best 2 book arc at a time when the fandom is really big online.

Talamasca might be gone, Mayfair might fizzle out.

But the vampire show gotta do the next two books in full. Which should be at least 3 more seasons.
