So yeah, I recommend this movie
There are 2 major criticisms I had
1. Trying to inject goofball off beat comedy into the proceedings given the very serious subject matter of child trafficking didn't mesh with me.
2. They hinted that the 9 year old daughter was going to fight grown ass men.. didn't happen but why tease that at all? Smh
The good: this is the best action film martial arts or any wise in the past few years.
The main character is mute, but his
and feet do the talking for him.
Very fluid and coherent fight scenes...even have mad dog and Taslim from the Raid 1
The final fight* is pretty epic and goes on for damn near 15-20 minutes... worth the price of admission?? Yeah
^^better than the final kitchen fight in Raid 2?? NOPE(nothing is tbh)
This is a 3.5 out 4 and I will recommend it to anybody. The hype is real.
I went an hour away to see this today but it was worth it
