From what I’ve learned over time there was no real concrete plan for them past the first film. They just set shit up just in case. The Celestial sticking outta the ocean was the only thing that mattered

I think it’s the celestials will have more of a role going forward.

Idk how they explain the Punisher being in the air like that lol you could be right. There’s been speculation that there’s gonna be avengers cameos we wouldn’t have expected. So maybe it could be Sam. But one of them niggas edited out is definitely Daredevil

Had to Google it. Apparently in She Hulk there is mention of an inhibitor device that allows him to go full Banner. I wonder if he builds something similar for Spidey to not go full Man-Spider.

Thinking further, maybe he can also go full Hulk with it.

I remember that being a question posed either on the cover of a Spiderman comic back or in one of its stories in the 80's or 90's. Probably the 80's during the Mutant Massacre or Fall of the Mutants crossovers, but I'm not completely certain.

That's really not that far fetched. I used to have this particular issue. One of the very few Spiderman titles I ever bought, and I got it specifically 'cause Wolverine was in it.
