Gunplay: Rick Ross Destroyed My Career

rick ross just confirmed what gunplay said. They wouldn't fund him and Ross admitted instead of informing gunplay , he strung him along as a part of his labor force who didn't know what was going on

Everybody got their kneejerk impulse to condemn.. but the explained situation has nothing even to do with "accountability" ...gunplay is justified. And he aint even attack ross

Ross wack for that shit. That nigga stood 10 toes for him during his come up. Can't respect it.

That said gunplay got demons he needs to deal with. Accountability must be taken.

Ross wrong for going in the internet talking about this. Call the nigga up and keep in house shit in house. Gunplay wrong as well for the same thing.

Either way accountability is the word of the day for both parties involved

Last time we heard from this nigga wasn't his wife claiming he held her up at gunpoint?

Drugs and bad decisions ruined his career.

Fade to black.

This

I think Gunplay can rap and had talent but nobody owes you anything and when you're someone who can't get out of their own way people dont want to invest in you

Its over

In the interview the opening post responding to i dont recall gunplay saying that Ross "destroyed" his career... he went into how they wouldn't put money behind him when his profile was at it's highest. He would go to Ross and Ross would direct him to Def Jam. Then Def Jam would direct him back to Ross ...and this game went on until there was no more game left to play lol smh

I kno gunplay a wild cat... but does him being wild invalidate (seemingly) legit business gripes?
They'll use it to dismiss him. But other than him pulling that gun on his accountant(accountant aint wanna go to trial or w/e so it got dropped) most of the wild Gunplay stories came years after his peak, so iono if it even matters.

Gunplay really could of had a lil wave and lowkey could of been a pretty popular youtuber. Dude really was entertaining and funny. I remember a vid that went viral back in the day of him vlgging just going deep sea fishing.
IDK him personally so idk how wild he really is. For all we know he could of really turned to drugs from frustration of the music biz.

50 would have never did yayo like this. Would never leave him just broke and stankin.

Let him have some duck in Madagascar or some shit Ross. Greedy.
Say what they want about 50, but they cant name another rapper than made sure his team ate better than him. At his peak when they only wanted him, he put out and pushed G-unit shit and the members solo albums. What other rapper did that?

The standard rap gameplay seems to be they sign their homies, let em hang around, maybe give them a feature, but not too much promo to steal their shine, they'll still really only push their own music. If these dudes pop, then they'll rush to jump on that wave, but other than that, they're really not doing no pushing. They just quietly drop them if they dont start their own wave n maybe make up an excuse.

But to keep it fair, some of these dude dont wanna work on shit, just wanna get high/do hood shit and sometimes you just gotta stop wasting time and resources n drop em.

Ross got the most obscure and Random group of former artists

Rockie Fresh
Pill
Stalley
Maybach O
Torch
Magazeen

Lmaooo
Magazeen was really the most random one. I think Ross was trying to copy Khaled. Rockie had some joints on the going 88 tape. Funny i forgot all about him till this post lol

Mans said he sold his publishing for $50k ... With him paid 25k upfront

:yikes1:

Career was over before it began
basically....and it's even crazier how he didn't do his homework on everything and everyone he had business with moving forward...including Ross.

wouldn't be surprised if Def jam told Ross we're not fuckin wit him until he changes his name and Ross never relayed the message

If Ross was really his homie, when he found that out he would of secretly bought back dude publishing and held it for when dude got his mind right.

This isnt like when BangEm Smurf sold his G-Unit shares for like 30k or some shit, cuz he went on to beef with 50 for w/e reason. Gunplay literally always held fatboy down like a loyal junkyard dog like other dude ssaid. How you let him do that goofy shit and shrug it off.

This like Ross on the jet filming himself joking with the niggas after they got beat up in Canada. Shows dudes character.
