I agree...but I really dont think San Antonio has a lot of levers to pull especially if Fox is going to be hobbled with this ankle injury
Like idk what they do about that Towns matchup at all
KAT being solid and holding up very well defensively against Wemby is massive for the Knicks
When you can matchup positionally and don't have to use your best defender on the other teams best player thats a huge advantage schematically
Spurs have a lot to figure out on both sides of the court
Was surprised to see the Spurs start off with Wemby on Towns instead of Hart
I knew that was going to be a huge problem before the series started and simply because despite all of the good-great defenders on the team they dont have anyone that guard 4s
That has to be a priority for them this...
Shamet probably one of the most underrated role players in the league, he was fantastic defensively last night and has been pretty much since he came back to the Knicks
Like @Sky Davis said I just dont think Pels are ready for that kind of move
Contrary to popular belief Im actually rooting for the Pels to figure out but its just a lot that does need to be figured out
You just got your second healthy Zion season in 8 years and he has two more years under...
So the Thunder have him under contract for two more years but that second year is a team option but he'll extended on a good deal by then since extension eligble soom and OKC is going to be smart and get him locked up on a good deal
Now say he continues to up his value over next seasom and he...
Not going anywhere
Shai
Dub
Chet
Safe
Ajay Mitchell
Caruso
Want back but might not happen
Hartenstein
Wallace
Williams
Williams
At risk/most likely to be cap casualties
Wiggins
Joe
Dort
The way OKC is currently constructed.....they're very deep and talented but the ecosystem is a bit fragile and like I was saying if Dub isn't going to be the second scoring option that changes everything
He's also they're best 2 way player and one of the few players with real positional size...
Based on that tweet it said for draft capital.....I dont see them trading their second best player simply for draft capital and salary relief if he's actually healthy when OKC is still in win now mode
