I like the fact that I could go into work and people who don't really pay any attention to women's football have been talking about it. It feels like a crossover moment in the UK at least.

Now to see if the sponsors and TV step up to push the game further. With the Premier League sniffing around the WSL at the moment the UK women's game is going to get bigger.

there's a lot of "athletes" that opted for American Football, Basketball, Baseball etc, AND didn't make it professionally, which perhaps if they were introduced to football, it may have been better suited for them instead
