Alexis Sanchez hoping PSG offer him a way out of Manchester United in January but huge wages are a problem

The 29-year-old Chilean striker is growing disillusioned at Old Trafford after losing his place and manager Jose Mourinho publicly criticising him. His representatives have been discreetly sounding out potential suitors ahead of the next transfer window.

But, inevitably, his £500,000-per-week wages are proving prohibitive, while United would also demand a significant transfer fee for a player they signed from Arsenal for nothing last January as part of a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

However, there is hope within the Sanchez camp that PSG could revive their interest, even though they have a wealth of attacking talent already at their disposal.

The French champions are one of only a small number of clubs who could afford Sanchez, but whether they are willing to renew their interest after he chose Old Trafford over Paris when he left Arsenal earlier this year is open to question.

Sanchez, who has scored just three Premier League goals since joining United, is upset with what he views as unfair treatment from Mourinho.

He has only started four league games this season and one in the Champions League — the goalless draw at home to Valencia. The South American has confided to those in his inner circle of his desire to leave United as quickly as possible.

If this is true, then I've lost a lot of respect for Sanchez. Seriously the shirt and club is clearly too big for you....shit you're the highest paid player in the league, so instead of bitching and looking for a way out AFTER LESS THAN A YEAR, how about pulling your socks up and work harder! Plus if it's really your strong desire to leave United that much, then forfeiting your extortionate wages shouldn't be an issue

The guy is a prick.

He could have stuck it out with Arsenal, helped them improve and potentially become a club legend. Instead he carried himself like a spoilt twat, begged for a transfer and outpriced himself from going to a decent team. Now he's running away again because he can't hack it. Arsenal have improved without him and Man Utd clearly aren't benefiting from him.

U guys were not going to pay him £500,000-per-week. I doubt u guys were going to even go over £300,000-per-week. Why the fuck would he "Stick it out"?

He is a 29 year old footballer, turning 30 in a few months. Dude needs to get every drop of money he can get before its over.

That’s that laugh now, cry later mentality. When he was balling at arsenal, while the team was struggling, all smiles on the bench. Now he gone to death row, mood ain’t the same.

I don't blame anyone for taking the loot when they get the chance, but the geezer got greedy and now he's crying. You can't blame Arsenal for not giving him the cash - him at Utd is showing he's clearly not worth it. Now he's stuck.

Exactly. The guy's attitude when we were struggling while he was smirking like he was too good to play for us, and now he's feeling the pain. I've got no sympathy for the twat.

Yo, @Young_Chitlin Patrick Roberts was one of the best players i have seen from your academy over the past few years. What happened to his development? I know he was injury prone while at Celtic. How is he doing at Girona this season?
