Voice Memo Guy

You done changed the age group like 26 times in this thread.

Until you play a bunch of different songs for a class, you can't say shit about what kids do or don't listen to.

At my son's 8th grade sneaker ball.... They played a variety of music, because contradictory to your limited view.... These kids do have a variety of music to listen to.

You starting to sound like a racist white person that's trying to stereotype all thing black kids.... They listen to more shit than just lil baby and YB... It's been proven, it can continue to be proved...

You just don't wanna accept it

I said 11-30
I've broken down the segment in age.

Playing varsity music means what? To the discussion on hand?

The radio does that brotha. What's your point by saying that?

8 year olds know YB. They don't know Brent. So what kind of content are they listening to? In regards to treating a woman.?

Knowing how to be sexy and cool kind of content from YB.

8 year olds ain't picking the music they listen to. They listen to what's played for them.

Teenagers however do control what they listen to....and their variety is way more spread out than you're trying to limit them to simply because the adults who choose the music for the events you're at choose to play certain shit.

I'm trying to tell you, from multiple proven examples, there is just as much if not more young black males who make music that's not good ass rap that these kids listen to.

And I've proven it multiple times.

Don Toliver 44m
Tyler 39m
Lil baby 30m
Brent Faiyaz 22m
Bryson Tiller 21m
YBNBA 19.4m
Jerimih 18.7m
Leon Thomas 12.9m
Moneybagg yo 11m

The point is simply that

Yes there's a lotta good nigga thug representation in young black music.. But the numbers clearly reflect that young black artists who are not limited to that lane are listened to just as much, if not more.. To try to limit young black men's examples on how they interact with women based off the examples of just the gangster rappers is disingenuous. It's not realistic. I just posted the numbers that clearly reflect that there are other examples that are being exposed to that same demographic, and some even more popular.

So if a young man decides to be savage with his chicks not smooth cool with it.... Is not because there's no examples of it.... It's because they CHOOSE to be that way.....

They are choosing to ignore any other shit. You can't blame that on music or lack of examples... You can ONLY blame it on the individuals choice to move how he is moving. Which means we are definitely in clear for calling niggas who choose to move like Moneybagg Yo (11m) vs a nigga like Leon Thomas (12.9m) or Jerimih (18.7m) who are clearly more popular.

Stop stereotyping these kids.... They listen to variety of shit

Even though you got 19 million listening to YBNBA.... It's still 21 million listening to Bryson Tiller.

That's the point, you can't claim that there are no examples available when these numbers exist and are easy to look up. But I'm done for the day.

Feel free to make any further reaches you please

Content.
Content.
Lets come back
Let me ask you this in this way.

Is Jeremiah content music the same as Marvin Gaye?

Is Jeremiah schooling young dudes on how to be sexy and cool?

Another reach. Marvin Gaye wasn't doing numbers when we were kids. That was our parents music.

Does Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross or Case content the same as Chris Brown content?

Content. You talking sales. Lets talk content of the music in which can contribute to a person being sexy or cool

16-28 year old teens and young men have never been the key r&b market to begin with even when the lyrics and presentations were different. At most some songs to put on a mix for your lady. But even then those songs weren't marketed to men. They were songs that as a guy you knew women were feeling. Women always were and have been. So your questions would be better suited for 16-28 year old women. Because when Usher dropped 8701 it wasn't teenage boys who made him sell 8 million. It was teenage girls and young women. Niggas wasn't running around singing Usher "Nice and Slow" on their own like that lol. That's a song you played around your lady.

lol nuggas just didn’t openly sing that shit but nighas knew ushers hits. But we had bet and mtv back then.

Checkmate.

My point that I was saying but you and Du are on this music is everywhere.
Not the discussion

If the youngest are not listening to these dudes, they are listening to the tricking, fuck on you chick, etc, how do you think most will act around chicks or towards chicks?
And that may be the sexy and cool thing for them to act that way.

My point is niggas 11-19 not pulling up to AAU, 7 on 7 or out and about in spaces where they be bumping R&B

Most are on YB, Baby etc

22-28 most black dudes are not on that tip either. Some may dibble and dabble into some other shit and then I would ask, is it some sexy and cool shit or is it some aggressive content?

Or they listening to some Maxwell type or D'ANGELO and I would say no they are not.

Listening to try and fuck over a bitch over in C Flat is still making my point
Why would you bump rnb for sports events? That’s not hype competition music. Unless you an old head from like the 70s

Bad comparison

Literally moving the goal posts, you all over the place.

You can't compare their music to our parents music.

And completely skip over our generation in terms of impact.

Our music would have the same impact on them that our parents music had on us.

So what music from our generation do you want to compare?

Again Usher still touring.... Nice and slow definitely a classic song that provides a smooth vibe.... Why not use that example... You brought up Marvin Gaye, why not James Brown papa don't take no mess??

Bruh just concede and say you were wrong
