WWE Night of Champions 🇸🇦 (6/27/26)

Added to Calendar: 06-27-26

You could argue although Austin was in the twilight of his career he was still #1

Rock was never the undisputed #1 like Austin was and like Roman is

Remember, he walked out because they wanted Lesnar to beat him in a random KOR match with no build and he chunked the deuces lol
You can argue Cody is #1 now

aight so the post show went off without anyone talking that "Oba might have tapped" bullshit Jey was tryin to get poppin. And I hope that shit doesnt come up on Monday Roman better shut that shit down if Jey brings it up lol

Nigga bout to catch hell on Monday I can hear em now

"Hey Jacob where was u at Uce"

Reigns gonna shut any kinda excuse he try to come with down tho. we bout to see the shift where he gets replaced as the right hand man

I just had a fucked up thought that Cody would turn around and win the title back on Smackdown this week lol.

They wouldn’t do anything like that, right?

You got lightning trapped in a bottle wit Oba. You wanna blow the roof off in that Minneapolis arena...you have beat Roman.

You don't give him the same treatment as they did Cody. This is different. Fans are already on the fence wit WWE and their booking. They've been HIGHLY skeptical that WWE will do the right thing when it comes to Oba.

Now WWE can make fans think Roman (if Oba chooses him) will come out on top, but pull the okey doke. That's a possibility. Again its SOOOOOOOO many paths, moving parts, players involved that there is NO for sure certain outcome.

So imma keep an open mind on it all. Like I said...Sami winning had me grinning b/c his ties wit the BL, and storylines that could come outta that.

Why wouldn't he, Brock knocked off Rock his first try. They got a chance to make an ultimate star with Oba.
That’s not the full story, tho.

I remember this. Rock had just came back from filming the Scorpion King and beat the Undertaker for the title - he had the title during the world premiere.

Then it was leaked that the Rock was leaving again and that’s when fans started booing the shit out of him. They asked how he felt about dropping the title to Brock and he said coo.

This is what made Brock turn face because fans were mad that Rock was leaving them for Hollywood. Rock got booed heading up to the much and got booed out the arena during the match. People cheered Brock because he was essentially taking the reins and staying with the people.

He didn’t wrestle again for years, only returning to make appearances from time to time.

So it’s a totally different scenario.

Nah. Austin was past his prime due to all the injuries and was on his way out. In fact, they wanted Austin to lose to Brock. He said fuck that and that’s when he left.

Austin wasn’t past his prime and he left because he wasn’t feelin none of the creative as far back as when the NWO pulled up. They asked him to lose to Brock on a regular Monday night Raw instead of a PPV where they’d make more money and he bounced
