Look at it for OKC. The issue is OKC giving Chet 40-50M over the next few years when you are already in the luxury tax and have a bunch of young guys that need to get paid.
The idea needed to be you have your big 3 and you can plug and play anyone else.
But Chet ain't good enough to be in that big 3.
Now you need to make hard decisions. The repeater tax gonna be a monster and owners ain't paying that.
Y'all keep talking about Chet this and Chet that.
If the heat trade for Chet, then boom. Hes 24, go and give him the max.
Same with most teams.
But Chet is on the Thunder. Hes one of the 3 foundational pieces, and the foundation is weak cause of him.
