Man this shit was a great fucking sendoff for Tommy Shelby! I agree with people who have gripes with Arthur not being in it. I would have loved when they said “by order of the Peaky Blinders” and Arthur strolled up like “by order of the Peaky fucking Blinders”. Arthur could have been with the son in some capacity.
All in all though, I think they tied up Tommy’s story nice giving him a purpose to combat the Nazi’s and resolve some of his demons.
I’d be down for the series continuing with the son. He is someone that can lead a series. Plus he has his own version of Aunt Polly. Somehow pull his younger brother in and you got Tommy, Arthur, and Aunt Polly. Would be interesting to see how they make it through the 50’s and 60’s.
